What a relief in Ban Pong: the leaking roof is now a thing of the past! During our last visit to Ban Pong, Northern Thailand, we noticed that the roof of the store and storage area was full of small leaks. The staff managed this temporarily with buckets while saving for a new roof. Since all materials for the school and store are kept in the warehouse, a proper solution was urgently needed.
In our newsletter at the end of March, we shared this issue and asked for help or suggestions. Very soon after, we received a wonderful offer: the management of Klüh Service Management Netherlands decided to sponsor the entire new roof.
From that moment on, everything moved quickly: by the end of May, the roof was installed in just one day. And just in time, as the rainy season had already started. Thanks to this generous gesture from Klüh, everything is now kept dry and safely stored.
